Лаборатория занимается внутриклеточной доставкой биологически активных веществ (таких как генетический материал, пептидные регуляторные факторы, цитотоксические противораковые лекарства, в т. ч. радионуклиды, фотосенсибилизаторы) в заданные компартменты клеток-мишеней с использованием естественных механизмов внутриклеточного транспорта макромолекул. Разработанные в лаборатории модульные нанотранспортеры придают доставляемым лекарствам клеточную специфичность и значительно — в сотни и тысячи раз — усиливают их эффективность.
